History
Željezničar is well-known and highly respected throughout South-Eastern Europe and its glory has spread even beyond.
Since its inception until the break up of Yugoslavia the club consistently ranked at the top echelon of the Yugoslav First League (Prva Liga).
Since Bosnia declared it's independence in 1992, the club has proven itself to be the most successful and prominent soccer (football) team in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
